This page explains how to delete your RinMoney account and the data associated with it.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the RinMoney app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and data.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Deletion is permanent: your account will be removed, you will be signed out, and server-stored data tied to your account will be deleted.
If you can’t access the app
Email us at support@rinmoney.com with the subject Delete my RinMoney account and include the email address used for your account.
We’ll process your request within a reasonable timeframe (typically within a few business days).
Data that is deleted
- Your account profile (name, email)
- Your in-account financial data (transactions, budgets, categories, and related settings)
- Subscription/payment records stored in our service
- Service email delivery logs tied to your account
Data that may be retained
- Anonymized technical/audit logs (without your name/email) for security and abuse prevention
- Purchase history may be retained by the platform (Google Play / App Store) and payment providers under their policies
