Delete account and data

This page explains how to delete your RinMoney account and the data associated with it.

Delete in the app (recommended)

  1. Open the RinMoney app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and data.
  4. Type DELETE and confirm.

Deletion is permanent: your account will be removed, you will be signed out, and server-stored data tied to your account will be deleted.

If you can’t access the app

Email us at support@rinmoney.com with the subject Delete my RinMoney account and include the email address used for your account.

We’ll process your request within a reasonable timeframe (typically within a few business days).

Data that is deleted

  • Your account profile (name, email)
  • Your in-account financial data (transactions, budgets, categories, and related settings)
  • Subscription/payment records stored in our service
  • Service email delivery logs tied to your account

Data that may be retained

  • Anonymized technical/audit logs (without your name/email) for security and abuse prevention
  • Purchase history may be retained by the platform (Google Play / App Store) and payment providers under their policies
